If you are an experienced salsa dancer, you probably have an extensive library of moves that you can draw upon. Over time however, many dancers tend to focus on the "moves" rather than the "relationships" that are also being created. The dance experience becomes an arms race where dancers are caught up in the quantity of moves vs the quality of the experience. You are invited to try a new approach to salsa. One that connects building relationships with the love of dancing. Emotion to motion. Experience the art of seduction!

OBJECTIVE (WEEKS 1-4):
We often unconsciously evaluate our partners by comparing their signals and social indicators to patterns we believe imply desirable qualities. Master giving off these signals (honestly and from the heart) and your partners will follow you with much less effort (men) or lead you wherever you wish to go (women).

WEEK 1: INTRODUCTION
Warmup. Side back cross, Prince, The Wedding pattern

WEEK 2: PERSONAL STYLE
Traveling, Right turn hook turn, Thriller Right, Hair Comb, The Wedding pattern

WEEK 3: THE COMFORT ZONE
Salsa waltz and the art of creating comfort

WEEK 4: VIDEO / GAME DAY
Review wedding pattern and salsa waltz


OBJECTIVE (WEEKS 5-8):
now that you have your partner's attention and mutual respect, probe to determine shared interests.

WEEK 5: ESCAPE THE FRIEND ZONE
Traveling (couple), Walk around, Half Drape, Embrace, Full Drape, Hand Cuffs

WEEK 6: SUBTLETY
We wish to transition smoothly between:
* Basic steps
* Basic steps elevated to art
* Technical Moves
* Seductive Moves
